Crosshair vector pad
Both crosshair lines fade to nothing at BOTH ends, so the brightest pixel on each is its centre and the eye is pulled straight to where they cross. Flat lines would need a separate marker to say where the handle is. And one pair of numbers feeds the crosshair, the handle and both readouts.
