Collision free map labelling

A schematic map of twenty two towns whose labels are placed by testing eight candidate positions around each dot in preference order, measuring the real text width with a hidden node and rejecting candidates that hit an already placed label, a marker or the canvas edge; cities are processed by importance, so the major ones win space and the minor ones keep only their dot, while a switch reveals the pile produced by naive placement next to a counter of readable labels per mode.

How this catalog works

Every component ships with its reproduction prompt: the text you paste into an AI builder to get exactly this piece. The values above are editable, and the prompt you copy carries the ones you chose, so what gets generated is what you were looking at.
