Reading anchor against layout shift
A self scrolling documentation panel that records with getBoundingClientRect the top of the first block under the reading line, applies height changes above it (figure finishing its load, notice, expanding code, table loading rows) and corrects scrollTop in a layout effect before paint; a toggle disables the compensation and a counter reports in real pixels how far the text jumps each time.
