Thermal print receipt
The ink is not drawn, it is degraded: an SVG filter displaces the text with turbulence and then punches holes in it using a second turbulence whose alpha is quantised into seven steps, one of them zero. That missing step is what keeps a seventh of the ink from reaching the paper. The torn edge is a single conic tooth repeated along x.
