A wireframe globe with no 3D: every meridian is a full circle seen edge on, so on screen they all keep ry = R and only rx changes by the cosine of the turned angle. The shading comes from no fill: at a sub pixel stroke the lines barely register where they spread and sum to solid colour where they crowd at the silhouette.
